Welcome to St Cecily’s

St Cecily’s Institutions, Udupi, started by the Apostolic Carmel Sisters in 1918, is a Minority Educational Institution as per the Constitution of India – Article No. 30 (1). The Apostolic Carmel Congregation was founded by Mother Veronica of the Passion (1823-1906) in Bayonne, France in 1868 and was established at St Ann’s Campus, Mangaluru in 1870 with its main thrust, The development of women in India as persons imbued with deep faith in God and in themselves by providing sound Catholic Education.
Over the past 100 years St Cecily’s has grown, grooming innumerable children entering it’s portals to impactful citizens of the nation and the world.

At St Cecily’s High School, it is our endeavour to provide value-based education to the forming minds  walking into our portals, so that it makes a lasting impression in them. We strive  to teach with a vision/goal  that enables the teens of today emanate to become not only well educated citizens but also out-reaching, other-centered, humane builders of society and the Nation.
