As a part of signifying ‘World Environment Day’ this academic year , students of class X A presented a mesmerizing programme on 20th June 2023. The programme commenced with a solemn prayer invoking blessings of the Almighty on Mother Earth for all her gifts to mankind.
An impressive and dramatic rendition kindled in the audience the awareness on the dire necessity of the hour to conserve and protect all the elements of the environment, not merely on one particular day, but on all days and at all times.
A meaningful skit brought out the message of judicious use of plastics and the hazards it poses to our environment. Students lovingly presented a potted sapling to every teacher.
Mr Pritham Pinto, Science teacher of the school who was the chief guest for the event delivered a meaningful message urging all to love and conserve Nature for posterity. The Headmistress, Sr Preethi Crasta too addressed the students to nurture Nature and consider it ones duty to keep their environment clean.
The students also performed entertaining dances to awe the audience. Tr Saritha , class teacher of X A guided the students towards the successful programme.
A beautiful performance on Yogasanas added meaning and cheer to the day’s event.
